I had the great pleasure of attending the 99th Handhills Stampede in June of 2015. The weather was good but at times it was raining cowboys. I thought it would be appropriate to start off with a picture of me on the last bull I ever got on. The date was July 31, 1971. The place was Medicine Hat, Alberta. The bull was Blue Frost of the Reg Kesler Rodeo Company. The bull won... Great fun!!
On November 24, my wife, Shirley Anne, and her twin sister, Sharon, had another birthday. Now, I am not so foolish as to say which one, but it does end in a "0"! The guests included 92 year old Aunt Lil, and two year old grandkids Mary and Sam. There were lots of hugs, smiles, and love enough to go around for all. Our compliments go out to Colin and Trevor who planned and executed this affair. Thank you, young men! You done good! Happy Birthday, Ladies!
They gathered at Parksville on beautiful Vancouver Island. The children of Allan, Margaret, Eunice, and Isobel Simpson renewed friendships and made new friends. I wish to express my appreciation to all who worked so hard to make this grand event take place. Thank you, all!
